Miami Yacht Club Hosts International Coastal Clean Up After Party

Miami, FL – September 16, 2023 – Advocates for Biscayne Bay came together at the Miami Yacht Club for the world’s largest cleanup day of the waterways. Community organizations including Blue Scholars Initiative,  and Sereia Films enjoyed festivities on the patio after collecting nearly 4000 pieces of trash for a total of 1000 lbs on and around Watson Island for International Coastal Cleanup Day. This is the third consecutive year that the Miami Yacht Club and Blue Scholars Initiative partner to host this event along with international and community organizers Ocean Conservancy and Volunteer Cleanup.org. Together we are making a difference.
