Opening of “It Was Always About You…” at Oolite Arts

Miami Beach, FL – July 12, 2023 – Oolite Arts celebrated the opening of its summer exhibition, “It Was All About You…” a celebration of art, community, and intimacy that features the works of 47 artists who have been a part of the organization’s nearly 40-year history.

In the middle of the gallery on a pedestal was a vessel by potter Ellie Schneiderman, a nod to her visionary work in founding Oolite Arts as a way to “help artists help themselves.” Oolite Arts President and CEO Dennis Scholl co-curated the show, his last before his retirement this fall, with Laura Guerrero.

“It Was All About You…” is open to the public at 924 Lincoln Road through Sept. 17.
