WRE News: Udonis Haslem Officially Retires from the NBA After 20 Years with the Miami Heat

Miami, FL – June 14, 2023 – Udonis Haslem has officially hung up his jersey and retired from the NBA after a 20-year career with the Miami Heat

A father, philanthropist, and all-star athlete hailing from Liberty City, Haslem’s connection to this city and the team holds an unparalleled significance. He joins the exclusive company of Dirk Nowitzki and Kobe Bryant as one of only three players to spend a 20-season career with a single team.

Stepping off the court, Haslem looks forward to spending more time with his family, tending to his business ventures in South Florida, and has expressed his desire to become part of the Heat ownership group led by Micky Arison and Nick Arison.

WRE has been photographing Udonis since his rookie year. Since then, we’ve been privileged to capture some of Udonis’ memorable moments in Miami.
