Miami, FL – May 16, 2023 –Lure Fish Bar, a beloved nautical-themed restaurant that brought a taste of New York to Miami, is set to close its doors after a successful decade-long run. Since its grand opening in 2013 within the St Moritz tower of the Loews Miami in Miami Beach, Lure Fishbar has been the go-to spot for seafood enthusiasts, cocktail aficionados, and those seeking the best burger in town, which earned them the prestigious title at the New York City Wine & Food Festival’s Burger Bash.

But as one chapter ends, another begins. The Loews Miami Beach has confirmed that Rao’s, renowned for its classic red sauce dishes and notoriously hard-to-get reservations, will take over Lure Fishbar’s prime location. Rao’s began in New York in 1896, and has since grown to a line of sauce and nation of restaurants.

Lure Fishbar assures loyal patrons that this closure is merely a temporary pause. With plans already underway, the restaurant is actively scouting new locations across Miami to continue its legacy of outstanding seafood and memorable dining experiences.
