Miami, FL – March 4, 2023 – On Saturday, March 4, the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science welcomed over 2,000 guests for Technology and Engineering Day, a special event held in honor of World Engineering Day. The event was filled with demonstrations and activities throughout the museum that showcased the technology of the future and innovative engineering. Guests were put to the test in the ultimate STEM challenge as part of a live stage show, came face-to-face with robots, explored AI, developed coding, built their own rockets, and met with numerous local scientists and engineers from the University of Miami, Florida International University and Miami Dade College. Museum educators as well as makers, innovators and STEM nonprofits also engaged guests with activities and cutting-edge gadgets. Event support was provided by the Glenn Bailey Foundation.
