Pier Sixty-Six Topping Off Celebration

Fort Lauderdale, FL – January 27, 2023 – Fort Lauderdale’s iconic Pier Sixty-Six commemorated a major milestone in the property’s reinvention, celebrating the topping off of the new resort building and property’s first resort residences.  The topping off ceremony recognized the work of more than 1,000 people across more than 100 companies currently working on the project and included remarks from Chris Gandolfo (Tavistock Development Company) and Rep. Chip La Marca.  Scheduled to debut in 2024, Pier Sixty-Six’s redevelopment will have created a local economic impact of $924 million and 5,100 jobs by that time.
