Miami, FL – January 25, 2023 – On Wednesday, January 25, Belinda Stronach (Chairwoman, CEO & President of 1/ST) and Baccarat hosted an intimate VIP kickoff celebration in advance of the 2023 Pegasus World Cup presented by Baccarat. Held at the Baccarat boutique in the Miami Design District, guests including Aidan Butler (CEO of 1/ST Racing & Gamingin), Mosha Lundström Halper, Dr. Dionne Benson (Chief Veterinary Officer of 1/ST), Craig Fravel (Executive Vice Chair of 1/ST Racing & Gaming), Reid Myers (Senior Director of Marketing of Baccarat), David Grutman, Myles Shear, Dana & Gary Shear, Adina Gould, Elizabeth Resnick, Lisa DiCicco Cahue, Kevin Gilmore, Racquel Natasha, and River Viiperi and enjoyed cocktails and bites, and a premium cut & light station presented by Davidoff Cigars. In addition to being the presenting sponsor of the 2023 Pegasus World Cup, Baccarat will also return as the Official Trophy Purveyor to create the championship trophies that will be presented to the winners of both the 2023 Pegasus World Cup Invitational and the Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational presented by Qatar Racing.

One of North America’s richest horse races, the 2023 Pegasus World Cup presented by Baccarat will be star-studded, include performances by Kygo and OneRepublic, and have a spectacular culinary aspect via a partnership with Groot Hospitality’s South Florida restaurants Komodo, Swan, Papi Steak, Key Club and Gekkō.
