Miami, FL – January 18, 2023 – Family, friends, and the South Florida vibrant artist community gathered at Oolite Arts to celebrate the opening of “Good Times,” a solo exhibition by multi-disciplinary artist Friday. Through drawing, video, illustration, sound, and ceramic sculpture, Friday created installations to prompt the viewers to consider more expansive notions of blackness and a space for dialogue, reflection, and celebration. The attendees also had the opportunity to visit the studios of the resident artists and check out their new work. It was a fun-filled evening with art, food, drinks, and music by DJ Ricky. The exhibition, curated by Laura Novoa, will be on view through April 2, 2023.
