Miami, FL – December 1, 2022 – On Thursday, December 1, nearly 4,000 guests from around the world gathered at Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) for the museum’s signature art week celebration PAMM Presents. The evening featured a live performance by Grammy-nominated artist Meshell Ndegeocello, produced by Jill Newman Productions, on PAMM’s waterfront terrace overlooking Biscayne Bay.
The party kicked off with a set by Paperwater, a Miami-based avant-garde pop duo, on the PAMM beach. Throughout the evening, guests from the worlds of art, fashion, business, and philanthropy, including PAMM members and donors, enjoyed drinks, live music, activations by Porsche and La Croix Sparkling Water, and dancing. The festivities culminated with an hour-long performance by Meshell Ndegeocello, who played with legendary drummer Deantoni Parks. The night ended with a live set by Sabine Blaizin featuring singer Gabriel Brunot.
Attendees also had the opportunity to view the museum’s current exhibitions which include Leandro Erlich: Liminal presented by Citi, the artist’s first ever survey in North America. Featuring a selection of 16 interactive works and site-specific installations that span more than two decades of the artist’s career, the exhibition includes Erlich’s famed Swimming Pool, the impossible-to-miss installation which submerges viewers, creating an unforgettable experience. Throughout the evening, guests experienced the artwork in a new way by watching Miami Movement Collective perform within Swimming Pool.
