Dinner in Celebration of “Christo Drawings: A Gift from the Maria Bechily & Scott Hodes Collection” at PAMM

Miami, FL – October 20, 2022 – On October 20, 2022, Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) Director Franklin Sirmans invited select guests to the museum for a private dinner celebrating “Christo Drawings: A Gift from the Maria Bechily and Scott Hodes Collection.” Guests wandered through the galleries, admiring the works on view, followed by a delicious dinner on the third floor terrace.

This exhibition presents stellar examples of Christo’s drawing practice, a pivotal aspect of his production. The collection exemplifies an expansive overview of Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s oeuvre, comprising their major projects from the late 1960s through the 2000s. “Christo Drawings: A Gift from the Maria Bechily and Scott Hodes Collection” is organized by former PAMM Curator María Elena Ortiz.
