Miami, FL – October 29, 2022 – On Saturday, October 29, 2022, nearly 3,000 costumed guests celebrated Halloween at the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science in Downtown Miami during its 6th Annual Spooky Science Monster Mash, presented by the Miami Downtown Development Authority (DDA). The day was filled with the terrifyingly terrific “Cursed Pumpkin Patch” stage show, slithering animal chats, bone-chilling science experiments and creepy cool encounters, including a special “Haunted Mad Science Lab” in the Knight Learning Center that invited guests to explore how to trap “ghosts” and make cauldrons bubble. Guests also had the opportunity to discover exciting science demonstrations by the American Chemical Society as part of National Chemistry Week (NCW), trick-or-treat around the museum, and experience the new special exhibition, Ultimate Dinosaurs: Meet a New Breed of Beast. Additional event support was provided by Casa Smiles Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics, Jackson Health System, and Thermal Concepts Inc., with media support by Kiddos Magazine.
