Oolite Arts Campus Reveal

Miami, FL – May 11, 2022 – Oolite Arts unveiled the rendering and model for the organization’s new building designed by award-winning Spanish firm Barozzi Veiga during an intimate reception at PRIMARY. The campus, which features expanded artist studios, exhibition space and a theater, will be a thriving cultural hub where artists can come together with international visitors and neighbors alike to exchange ideas. The evening began with remarks from Oolite Arts President and CEO Dennis Scholl, Oolite Board Member Alessandro Ferretti and architect Alberto Veiga of Barozzi Veiga. Among the attendees were the Oolite development committee; Chloe Berkowitz, Lilia Garcia, Reagan Pace, and Marie Elena Angulo along with board members Adler Guerrier, Chair Emeritus Kim Kovel, Jeff Krinsky, Maricarmen Martinez, Deborah Slott and Chair Secretary Donnamarie Baptiste. Oolite Arts’ new home is slated to open in the City of Miami in 2024 for its 40th anniversary.
