Miami, FL – April 14, 2022 – On April 14, 2022, Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) celebrated the opening of Marisol and Warhol Take New York with a night of festivities. The day kicked off with a PAMM member preview, where members were able to see the galleries before they opened to the public. Outside on the terrace, members also enjoyed an exclusive Pop Art-themed appreciation lounge with a Jukes Cordialities tasting station. The evening culminated with a newly commissioned multimedia performance, Songs for Marisol, by Roberto Carlos Lange (aka Helado Negro). The performance consisted of original compositions combined with a selection of Andy Warhol’s films featuring the artist Marisol. Following the performance, guests flocked to the outdoor terrace to enjoy a DJ set by Lolo Reskin under the stars.
