Miami, FL – March 5, 2022 – On Saturday, March 5, the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science welcomed nearly 3,000 guests for Technology & Engineering Day, a special event held in honor of World Engineering Day. The event was filled with challenges and activities throughout the museum that showcased technological discoveries from South Florida and beyond. Guests came face-to-face with robots and drones, developed coding, built their own catapults, and met with numerous local scientists and engineers from the University of Miami, Florida International University, Seaworthy Collective, Tech Girl Power, Sphero Ball, Florida Power & Light Company and more. Representatives from organizations such as Miami-Dade College, Florida Highway Patrol and the Miami Beach Police Department also engaged guests with demonstrations and activities. Event support was provided by Jackson Health System and UHealth Jackson Children’s Care.
