Miami Beach, FL – February 17, 2022 – On the evening of February 17th, Miami Design Preservation League celebrated the launch of a new capital campaign with a chic evening reception. Hosts Michael and Roberto Raynes opened their restored historic Pinetree Drive residence for sunset cocktails and a preview of plans for a new Art Deco Museum. Guests enjoyed bites from Le Basque while Yanit & The Viynl Blvd. performed jazz standards poolside. Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber, MDPL Executive Director Daniel Ciraldo, and MDPL Board members Jack Johnson and Michael Raynes introduced the project and made a rousing call for support, which moved many to pledge their support on the spot. Miami Design Preservation League is a not for profit preservation and arts organization which preserves, protects and promotes the architectural, cultural, social and environmental integrity of Miami Beach and the surrounding areas.
