I am Me at Hialeah Senior High School

Hialeah, FL – February 3, 2022 – Imagined, produced, and presented by the Adrienne Arsht Center, I am Me continued its tour of Miami-Dade County public high schools on February 3, 2022 at Hialeah Senior High School. The new initiative, which includes a play focused on teen mental health and wellness and a series of artistic self-expression workshops for teens, is the culmination of the Arsht Center’s 16-year partnership with Miami-Dade County Public Schools and is provided by the Arsht Center at no cost to every 9th grade student and teacher in Miami-Dade County public schools. Before the show, the Arsht Center’s Vice President of Arts Education and Community Engagement, Jairo Ontiveros, presented outgoing MDCPS Superintendent Alberto Carvalho with the inaugural Art of Education Champion award.
