Miami, FL – February 12, 2022 – The For the Love of Learning Gala was hosted at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami, benefitting The Foundation for New Education Initiatives. Guests celebrated and expressed appreciation for the superintendent;s immensely strong and successful leadership over the past 14 years. Those that were honored included, Rodney C. Adkins, Michelle Bernstein, Dr, Vivek Murthy, George Chris Pedersen, Armando Christian Pérez (Pitbull), Dr. Robert Sackstein, and Maribel Perez Wadsworth, all part of Miami-Dade Country Public Schools Alumni Hall of Fame.
