Miami, FL – December 16, 2021 – The Mad Butcher, a new culinary-entertainment concept from visionary restauranteurs Kim Wood and Coco Coig, hosted a Friends & Family “sneak peek” at its location in Wynwood a week before it opens to the public on December 28th. An all-day gourmet sandwich shop with a late-hours speakeasy in the back, The Mad Butcher treated guests to a high-energy night of dining and dancing. Chef Jose Luis Bustamante offered samplings of The Mad Butcher’s globally inspired menu of 10 perfect sandwiches, including the Reuben, the Tennessee Chicken, the Bahn-Mi, and the Cubano, as well as the lust-worthy homemade key lime and pecan pies. Guests boogied into the night in the 1970s-inspo disco, complete with orange velvet banquettes and a giant disco ball, and sipped curated handcrafted cocktails including “La Vie en Rose” (secret ingredients: raspberry framboise-Lambic beer reduction and cherry bark!) made by Director of Beverage Andi Cruzatti.
