Miami Enjoys the First Brugal 1888 “La Ventanita” at Brickell City Centre

Miami, FL – September 25, 2021 – On Saturday, September 25, Brugal 1888, a premium rum produced in the Dominican Republic, hosted a tasting event at La Ventanita, an immersive, four-part pop-up series that first launched at Brickell City Centre.

Gathered in La Ventanita’s plush lounge, guests mingled with Brugal 1888 ambassadors and sipped on craft cocktails prepared by guest bartender Zoran Spanovic. Zoran served two brand specials, the Don Nano’s Favourite with Brugal 1888 and a coconut water ice sphere, and La Ventanita, a Brugal 1888 and coffee-infused cocktail, as well as his own craft libation featuring the premium rum, pure pear, maraschino cherry, lime and black pepper garnish on the rocks. Two flavors of pastelitos were available for bites, including Guava & Cheese topped with a coconut-infused glaze and toasted coconut, and Picadillo & Plantain. Guests also received a special surprise from The Biscayne Poet, who typed up personalized poems on his vintage typewriter, leaving La Ventanita-goers with a memorable keepsake.

The Brugal 1888 La Ventanita at Brickell City Centre is set on the 2^nd floor Garden Deck, directly across from ZARA, until September 28, 2021. Registration is free, and guests receive a complimentary token for a coffee and pastelito during Cafecito Shop hours (1:00 – 3:00pm), or a token for a Brugal 1888 cocktail and pastelito during Rum Bar hours (4:00pm – 9:00pm). Immersive experiences are available daily, such as guided rum tasting sessions and dominos, bringing a taste of the Dominican Republic to Miami.

La Ventanita will pop up in three additional Miami neighborhoods through early 2022. However, those locations will remain a surprise until opening as a playful nod to five generations of distilling secrets kept within the Brugal family.
