Brugal 1888 Launches La Ventanita Pop-Up Series at Brickell City Centre

Miami, FL – September 21, 2021 – On Tuesday, September 21, Brugal 1888, a premium rum produced in Dominican Republic, hosted an intimate tasting event celebrating the launch of La Ventanita, a four-part pop-up series that kicked off at Brickell City Centre. Upon arrival, guests were greeted with Brugal 1888’s signature Don Nano’s Favorite cocktail, fused with the premium rum, coconut water and ice.

Guests mingled around the pop-up’s plush lounge area and sipped on craft cocktails prepared by Brugal 1888 ambassador Gabriel Urrutia and guest bartender Danilo Dacha Božovic of Swizzle Rum Bar & Drinkery, including the Don Nano’s Favorite and La Ventanita, a Brugal 1888 and coffee infused cocktail. Dacha demonstrated the presentation of his signature Brugal 1888 serve, “El Presidente” featuring the premium rum, Blanc Vermouth, orange curaçao, pomegranate molasses and Angostura bitters, garnished with an orange twist. Two flavors of pastelitos were served alongside the spirit: Guava & Cheese topped with a coconut-infused glaze and toasted coconut, and Picadillo & Plantain. As the evening concluded, guests departed with a little extra flair and flavor of the Dominican Republic.

The Brugal 1888 La Ventanita at Brickell City Centre will be set on the 2nd floor Garden Deck, directly across from ZARA, from September 19 – 28, 2021. The Cafecito Shop will be open from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. and the Brugal 1888 Rum Bar from 4:00 – 9:00 p.m. daily. Guests can enjoy a variety of immersive experiences that bring the Dominican Republic to life in Miami, including rum tasting classes, dominos and more. La Ventanita will also make three additional stops in top Miami neighborhoods through early 2022. Those locations will remain a surprise until opening, a playful nod to five generations of distilling secrets kept within the Brugal family.
