Miami Beach, FL – May 23, 2021 – The idea behind a traditional early afternoon Sunday Supper is to share: memories, time and experiences. It’s a nostalgic and evocative dining tradition that emphasizes human connection. For one night only, a select number of guests received access to the chef mastermind behind CARBONE, Mario Carbone, as he crafted a Sunday Supper replete with his favorite dishes from throughout his years as a highly-celebrated culinary genius. Trained under the keen eye of Chef Daniel Boulud, Carbone’s culinary journey has taken him to many corners of the globe, taught him varying culinary styles, and birthed the renowned and award-winning CARBONE.

Carbone, known for paying homage to the essence of the great Italian-American restaurants of the mid-20th century, opened the doors to its second outpost in Miami Beach this year, and created a frenzy! One of Major Food Group’s latest concepts (the hospitality group behind CARBONE, ZZ’s Clam Bar, Parm, and many other flagship culinary concepts), and hailed as a delectable success by food critics and glitterati alike, CARBONE has become the hardest reservation to secure in South Florida!

To date, MFG has received two nominations for Best New Restaurants in America by the James Beard Foundation, holds 18 New York Times Stars and 3 Michelin Stars. Guests joined Mario Carbone at his eponymous South Beach restaurant as he created an eclectic Sunday Supper experience that dished up Italian-American cuisine in a renaissance of flavors. Guests had access to the retro-glam luxury of CARBONE, Miami’s hottest new restaurant, during this special SOBEWFF® dinner, paired with a delicious selection of wine from the Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits portfolio.
