Miami Beach, FL – May 22, 2021 – During this seminar for SOBEWFF, participants explored classic expressions of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir through Premiers & Grands Crus icons from Champagne and Burgundy, including some of Bouchard Père & Fils’ monopole & exclusivities and William Fèvre’s top wines.
The Henriot family, of the namesake Champagne House established in 1808 and today one of the few remaining family-owned Champagne houses, was the first family from Champagne to venture into Burgundy. In 1995, the family took over the torch from the Bouchard family, established in Beaune in 1791, and then from William Fèvre in Chablis in 1998. At the heart of each estate’s philosophy is a common thread: guided by the pursuit of the finest expression of the best terroirs, each house is distinguished by a focus on Premiers & Grands Crus vineyards, an organic or biodynamic approach, and talented craftspeople who assure the highest in quality standards.
