Miami Beach, FL – May 22, 2021 – Rick Bayless is the seven-time James Beard Award-winning chef behind several successful Chicago restaurants, New York Times’ best selling cookbooks, an Emmy-nominated Public Television series, and this year, he returned to SOBEWFF for a dinner tribute to his life-long study and adulation of Mexican cuisine. In fact, even the Government of Mexico has given Bayless the Mexican Order of the Aztec Eagle – the highest decoration bestowed on foreigners whose work has benefitted Mexico and its people.

Executive Chef Scott Linquist, the mind behind the mouthwatering flavors and lively ambiance, reminiscent of the best Mexican street food you will ever have, of Coyo Taco and Tequila Bar and the newly-opened Los Buenos by Coyo Taco, is a fellow devotee of modern Mexican cuisine. Together, these two powerhouse chefs ignited the beautiful new and eclectic rooftop, Serena at Moxy South Beach, with the spirit of Mexico for an unforgettable night, paired with Mexican wines and mezcal-based cocktails from the Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits portfolio.
