This year, he was joined by singer-songwriter Rico Love, his protégée Mia Ariannaa, and Melba Wilson, whose eponymous soul food eatery, Melba’s Restaurant, has become a Harlem, NY staple known for its line-up of Southern cuisine, as they cooked alongside Executive Chef Jeff Masanz of The Bath Club, known for his devotion to culinary excellence and preservation of culinary traditions.

This unparalleled dinner experience combined Johnson’s devotion to the complex and tangy flavors African diaspora and Wilson’s sincere Southern spice with Love and Ariannaa’s melodic crooning.
