Miami, FL – May 22, 2021 – Since opening its doors, James Beard Award-winning Chef Michael Schwartz’s Amara at Paraiso in Edgewater has been one of the most buzzed about waterfront restaurants in town. This year, the South Florida favorite opened his kitchen to James Beard Award-winning TV personality Andrew Zimmern, who also moonlights as a chef, food writer and teacher.
Schwartz, alongside Amara at Paraiso Executive Chef Michael Paley, paid homage to the city’s diverse culture through bold local flavors, as Zimmern took on an ultra-modern approach to his cuisine, inspired by his vast travels and experiences across the globe. Festival guests enjoyed this global melding of cuisines, accompanied by perfectly paired wines from the Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits portfolio, in the heart of Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood.
