Miami Beach, FL – May 20, 2021 – The 2021 SOBEWFF® Tribute Dinner Honoree, Giada De Laurentiis, an Emmy Award-winning television personality and chef best known for her hit shows on Food Network, and for being a New York Times’ bestselling author and proud flourishing restaurateur, headed back to the sands of South Beach to kick off the Festival’s 20th anniversary, with an invite to experience the hottest ticket in town – CARBONE!

Founded by Mario Carbone, Rich Torrisi, and Jeff Zalaznick, CARBONE is the highly celebrated Italian restaurant whose newly opened Miami outpost has become the hardest reservation to secure (seriously, it’s practically impossible). Guests experienced a dose of la bella vita on the beach alongside more than 24 of South Florida’s greatest chefs serving up dishes originating from various regions of Italy. Guests sampled an exclusive taste of Carbone Fine Food’s newest sauce creations – the latest imaginative offering from the chef masterminds behind the eponymous restaurant empire – while sinking their toes into the sparkling white sands of South Beach.
