Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami Hosts “The BIG Night Out (Or The BIG Night In, It’s Your Choice)” at PAMM

Miami, FL – May 8, 2021 – Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Miami’s largest annual fundraiser this year took place as a hybrid event on Saturday, May 8th, with guests choosing whether to enjoy the evening under the stars and surrounded by the flora at Perez Art Museum Miami or within the privacy of their homes.

“The BIG Night Out (Or The BIG Night In, it’s Your Choice)” included engaging presentations, a virtual and live auction, dinner, and music. The reimagined event, co-chaired by Asha and Jamie Elias and Claudia and Gabe Navarro, raised over $1 million to ignite the power and promise of Miami’s future: its youth. The event was emceed by NBC’s Jawan Strader in collaboration with Gale Nelson, President & CEO of BBBS Miami. The moving stories shared by the program beneficiaries demonstrated the transformation experienced by the “Littles” mentored through the organization’s programs — as well as the “Bigs” who provide the mentoring.
