Miami Beach, FL – May 22, 2021 – On Saturday night, guests gathered for an evening of Polynesian flare and tiki-inspired cocktails. Guests enjoyed an artful display of libations and bites at the hip and trendy Surfcomber boutique hotel – but with a spirited twist. BACARDÍ rum wasn’t the only star of the night, as Patrón Tequila got in on the action this year. SOBEWFF tapped one of Latin radio’s most recognizable personalities, Enrique Santos, the host of Tú 94.9s Morning Show, who hosted the hyper-local affair. As the Chairman and Chief Creative Officer of iHeartLatino, Santos is intrinsically linked to the strong roots of the local community, and presided as an elite group of mixologists from across South Florida battled it out!

SOBEWFF rounded up some of the best bartenders across Florida as they competed to be crowned tiki-King or Queen at the end of the night. An esteemed panel of judges evaluated the contestants’ rum or tequila-centric offerings, while guests sipped on their creations and savored bites from some of South Florida’s most buzzed about spots.
