However, this year SOBEWFF brought this fabulous brunch home to Miami with dynamic duo David Burtka and Neil Patrick Harris as its hosts to help pay tribute to and celebrate PRIDE. This highly charismatic couple turned up the charm and got the party going – Burtka’s first cookbook is titled Life is a Party (Grand Central Publishing, Spring 2019) after all – alongside Mistresses of Ceremonies Bianca Del Rio, winner of season six of RuPaul’s Drag Race, and Athena Dion, one of Miami’s most beloved drag queens!

Guests joined the couple that defines #DadGoals in keeping keep the ultimate celebration going, as Burtka and Harris presided over this unique Festival brunch! Rocco Carulli, chef/owner of R House in Wynwood, home to one of Miami’s most beloved drag brunches, curated a mind-blowing line-up of some of South Florida’s most popular drag performers that stole the show, as guests indulged in dishes prepared by some of the most creative chefs in Miami! Guests sipped on free-flowing wine and cocktails while enjoying select performances from some of the talent influencing the event’s cuisine. It was the ultimate Sunday pairing of food, drink and PRIDE!
