Paperfish Sushi Debuts In Brickell from World Red Eye Films on Vimeo.

Miami, FL – April 22, 2021 – V&E Restaurant Group and Fabric Group LATAM came together to introduce a new concept to the Brickell dining scene with an invitation-only grand opening celebration. The new contemporary izakaya showcased its artfully crafted cocktails and Nikkei cuisine at the private event, highlighting an interplay of fresh Japanese and Peruvian flavors.

“With Paperfish Sushi, we saw an opportunity to fill a void in the Brickell market with an approachable sushi restaurant that is upbeat and modern, with a sense of speakeasy cool,” said CEO Matias Pesce. “Despite the pandemic, people need to work, dine, and socialize. This is a key step towards the sustainability of our industry, people, and community.”

Just like the neon-lit streets and meandering alleys of Tokyo, the venue is a neatly tucked away between the towering buildings of Brickell and South Miami Avenue. Enter through the red torii gates – symbolically marking the transition from the mundane to the sacred – onto an open-aired terrace adorned with draping plants, Japanese street signs, and a sea of soft-lit paper lanterns. Inside, a clean palette of natural materials, wood accents, and handcrafted ceramics offset cherry blossom pink petals of an enchanting cherry blossom tree-lined dining room.

Paperfish Sushi is located at 1421 South Miami Avenue in the heart of Brickell, Miami and will be open for lunch, weekend brunch, happy hour, and dinner. www.paperfishsushi.com
