Miami Beach, FL – April 1, 2021 – Serving up its legendary service, The Villa Collection at The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach celebrated the return of the Miami Open tennis tournament on Thursday, April 1. Taking place in the meticulously-appointed Piero Lissoni sales villa, the afternoon featured a live stream of the Miami Open quarter-finals match featuring Stefanos Tsitsipas versus Hubert Hurkacz. Residents, families, and guests, along with local real estate agents and VIPs, enjoyed a socially-distanced open house filled with gourmet dining, the Miami Open’s “MO Smash” signature cocktail, and tennis-themed treats. Distinguished guests also received an opportunity to score complimentary tennis lessons at the Miami Tennis Academy.

Philip Freedman, the Executive Director of Sales for The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach, was on-hand to personally guide guests through the exquisite, two-story sales villa designed by the world-famous master Italian architect, Piero Lissoni. Particular attention was paid to the villa’s premier features, including natural materials and detailed Italian craftsmanship, floor-to-ceiling windows, custom architect-designed Boffi kitchens with Gaggenau appliances, bathrooms lined in stone and anchored by stand-alone tubs, and Lissoni designed Fantini fixtures, just to name a few. Other one-of-a-kind villa amenities include an expansive private terrace, a two-car garage, fenced yard, and private infinity-edge pool all in a lavishly landscaped waterfront tropical setting.

“One of the city’s most celebrated events, we are very pleased to welcome the return of the Miami Open this year,” said Freedman. “Keeping ourselves socially distant during the presentations, we had a very nice turnout of guests with several buyers and their brokers learning about the property for the first time.”

After touring the sales villa, agents from Douglas Elliman Development Marketing, showcased the property’s resort-style amenities, including an art studio, yoga studio, a cinema-style screening room, a private-day yacht, and concierge services, among many others. Guests were also able to experience firsthand the continued construction progress of The Villa Collection, where they were able to view the foundation pour of waterside villas N05 & N06. The free-standing two-story villas offer range in size from 3,263 to 4,643 square feet of living space with twelve different floor plans providing 3-, 4- and flex 5- bedroom options, all with interiors and exteriors designed by Piero Lissoni. Eight stand-alone waterfront villas will have reserved boat dockage immediately in front of the villa, and seven garden villas will offer serene and scenic gardens. Other exclusive features include expansive private terraces, a two-car garage, fenced yard, and private infinity-edge pool all in a lavishly landscaped waterfront tropical setting.

The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach are rich with resort-style amenities including a residential art studio, 36 private boat slips, an on-site captained Frauscher day yacht, a half-acre rooftop pool deck with private cabanas and poolside private resident-only restaurant, ecological food forest and community garden, a club room and waterfront social room for entertaining, a kids’ room, and library.
