Miami Film Festival presents REEFA at Tower Theater Miami

Miami, FL – April 15, 2021 – On Thursday, April 15th MDC’s Miami Film Festival presented the Miami premiere of REEFA at Tower Theater Miami. The film’s writer-director Jessica Kavana Dornbusch, producers George Perez and Alejandro Suaya, and actors from the film Tyler Dean Flores, Clara McGregor, Karlos Sanchez, Pamela Longsword, Steve Gibb and Aden Karp were there in-person to walk the red carpet and introduce the film. This made-in-Miami film is based on the true story of Israel “Reefa” Hernandez and his tragic confrontation with the police in 2013 in Miami Beach.
