Miami, FL – March 25, 2021 – Dedicated to strengthening relationships between community and the law enforcement and first responders that serve them, The Community-Police Relations Foundation held a member event that highlighted their social impact through the many voices who spoke of their first-hand experience partnering with the charity. The speakers came from other organizations, charities, community, churches and law enforcement alike, all touting the good deeds and heartfelt immersion into the many communities benefiting from the group’s mission.

CPRF encourages law enforcement officers to shine a light on the greatest needs within the communities they serve, and present their plan for meaningful support. While CPRF provides financial and synergistic support to implement these important and community building programs, it is the uniformed officers and first responders who take charge to deliver it to communities most in need.

Some spoke about the thousands of meals that were handed out, while others discussed the joy brought to the hundreds of foster children who received clothing, including dozens outfitted for their future job interviews. Others hailed the community interaction allotted by the “free ice cream” provided, being distributed by the City of Miami Police Department community ice cream truck. School districts spoke to the “clothe the homeless children” program, while others spoke to the college scholarships and mentorships provided by the organization. Many stories were shared. The 170 attendees were encouraged by all who spoke to lean more about the CPRF and get involved.

Visit cprfcharity.org to see the inspiring interactions and the many ways to get involved to help them continue on their mission to build bridges and heal through mutual support and humanity.
