Miami, FL – April 17, 2020 – #WRECares is proud to partner with g.l.o.w. to help fight COVID-19. Thanks to their donation, we’re able to provide face masks to frontline workers.

g.l.o.w. , slated to open Summer 2020 in Wynwood, Miami is the perfect spot to get an indulgent treat that you feel great about eating. Our superfood based menu boasts decadent yogurt flavors from Pear Ginger to Vietnamese Coffee which are a perfect pair with our fresh lunch items. Our superfood based lunch menu was thoughtfully created by Chef Todd Erickson offering kung pao cashew cauliflower, superfood salad, and a huge falafel cone that we can’t get enough of! Each detail of g.l.o.w. has been created with purpose, we know that when you spend your money you want it to go to something good; 100% of g.l.o.w. proceeds will benefit girl centered organizations worldwide. When we invest in girls we invest in a stronger world. Empowering girls, empowers all of us.

WRE: How did you get connected with #WRECares?

g.l.o.w.: We were introduced to World Red Eye and World Red Eye Cares through our friend Nick D’Annunzio.

WRE: How is your company helping to fight COVID-19?

g.l.o.w.: The doors to g.l.o.w. Miami have yet to open, due to current events we have postponed our opening. Our main priorities are the well being of our community, starting with our staff and customers. We will not open until it is safe to do so, and when we do we will take every precaution to keep orders clean.

WRE: Why did you want to get involved?

g.l.o.w.: The effect of COVID19 on the Miami hospitality industry has been heavy on our hearts. When the circumstances started to develop, we instantly knew as a team at g.l.o.w. that we wanted to reach out to our community. Without being open yet we needed to brainstorm the most effective way to help. It was then we decided to offer a donation to help someone who had the infrastructure to make a difference. We saw the efforts put in place by  World Red Eye Cares and we know that our contribution will be helping Miami residents directly. We love our Miami community and when we are able to help, we always want to be involved.

WRE: How is your donation going to help fight COVID-19?

g.l.o.w.: By donating funds for more than 1,500 masks to be made, we know that more members of the Miami community who need masks will receive them. Giving everyone the proper supplies to stay safe, will help us all “flatten the curve”.
