Miami, FL – February 8-9, 2020 – Ready. Set. Porsche! THE COLLECTION was proud to be the title sponsor of DRT 2020. To kick off DRT Weekend, The Collection Porsche opened its doors for a Breakfast Rally on February 7th to kick off the DRT Track Day at Miami-Homestead Speedway. Doors opened at 6:30am for our famous Porsche concours on Aurora Street. Inside our Piazza, Master Crepes food truck prepared fresh crepes while Aroma Espresso brewed coffee to caffeinate the attendees.

The weekend full of events was just beginning, as THE COLLECTION Porsche welcomed guests for the signature Cars & Coffee event. Over 600 Porsche enthusiasts gathered at THE COLLECTION to celebrate this iconic Porsche weekend. Guests were invited to showcase their vehicles for all to see. Upon registering guests were invited to enjoy Mimosas and pancakes curated by the Jealous Fork as they marveled at Porsche’s latest model, the Porsche Taycan. Shop tours were offered to guests who were looking for a behind the scenes glimpse into the technical side of Porsche.

That evening, VIP attendees were invited to get a sneak peak into Sunday’s festivities in South Miami, where THE COLLECTION hosted a VIP cocktail reception. Over 300 guests gathered that evening to sip drinks provided by Dewars, Beers from Peroni, and a curated cheese board provided by the infamous Board Miami. Guests marveled at the vehicles hand selected for the event. On Sunday, February 9th, Porsche enthusiasts from around the world flocked to South Miami for the Main event. THE COLLECTION Porsche took part by hosting a VIP tent for attendees with savory bites from Salty Donut and Town Kitchen & Bar to refreshments including complimentary water provided by FIJI. Guests who brought along their four legged friends were invited to partake in our Bark Bar provided by Dogs of Ipanema where they were gifted a Collection Porsche tennis ball and gourmet dog treats. Although DRT is filled with all kinds of Porsche’s the star of the event as the 2020 Porsche Taycan, center stage for all to see.
