Fort Lauderdale, FL – February 19, 2020 – Guests joined NYC restaurateur Michael Lomonaco and Steak 954 Executive Chef Johan Svensson for a melt-in-your-mouth dinner to kick-off #SOBEWFF in Greater Fort Lauderdale! A native New Yorker, Lomonaco has spent his career celebrating the bounty of the American table at some of the city’s most iconic restaurants – including ‘21’, Windows on the World, Wild Blue and Guastavino’s – before opening Porter House Bar and Grill, Center Bar, and his newest concept, Hudson Yards Grill in Hudson Yards, all in New York, NY.

The Swedish-born Svensson has trained under the illustrious likes of Chefs Marcus Samuelsson and Laurent Tourondel in kitchens around the globe – and draws on that eclectic inspiration to present the classic American steakhouse in an innovative light. Nestled into the waterfront W Fort Lauderdale, Steak 954 takes full advantage of its breathtaking natural surroundings. A luminous starlit night set the scene at this luxury boutique steakhouse, as taste buds received the star-treatment with bold, modern, and locally-sourced American flavors in a setting that encourages an elevated dining experience. Guests also indulged in wines from Brancott Estate, Campo Viejo and Kenwood Vineyards, while enjoying the sweeping panoramic views of Fort Lauderdale Beach.
