Friends of Miami Animals Foundation, Inc. (FoMA) Hosts “Be a Friend” Fundraiser

Miami, FL – January 15, 2020 – More than 100 dignitaries and philanthropists gathered in the home of FoMA board member Brigitt Rok-Potamkin and husband Alan Potamkin, at the Four Seasons at the Surf Club in Surfside, FL on January 15th, 2020. Rok-Potamkin was joined in hosting the event by fellow board member and FoMA founder Yolanda Berkowitz, as well as board members Danielle Calleja and Hal Lucas. Those in attendance gathered to be enlightened about the state of animal welfare in Miami-Dade County and to learn about FoMA’s critical work to save and improve the lives of homeless pets. Attendees were given an opportunity to give towards one of the foundation’s many initiatives, including: foster, adoption, volunteerism, spay and neuter efforts, medical care for pets of low-income households, shelter improvements, and more.
