Bal Harbour, FL – January 11-12, 2020 – Bal Harbour Shops and Jackson Health Foundation raised more than $93,000 at its third annual “Ice Cream We Love” event hosted at the nation’s top-producing retail center. Supporting Holtz Children’s Hospital at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center, the weekend-long event was a sensationally sweet success with more than 1,500 in attendance. The flavorful festival featured a curated selection of ice cream parlor pop-up booths representing 17 vendors including renowned national brands Van Leeuwen Ice Cream from New York, Graeter’s Ice Cream from Ohio, and Izzy’s Ice Cream from Minnesota, paired with the best local artisan ice cream makers including Bianco Gelato, Cielito Artisan Pops, Serendipity Creamery, and Whip n’ Dip, to name a few. The weekend festivities also featured a face painter, Oopsy the Clown making balloon fun, caricature sketch artist, graffiti stations, and ice cream toss games. Guests were also greeted by a playful juggler and experienced a vibrant colorful pop-up by international artist Romero Britto – who made a special personal appearance at the event.
