Miami, FL – January 26, 2020 – Legendary author and National Book Award winner Isabel Allende discussed her newest book to an adoring crowd at the Adrienne Arsht Center’s Knight Concert Hall. Allende, who is a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Barack Obama, spoke to journalist Mirta Ojito about the novel, A Long Petal of the Sea, which tells the story of a young couple fleeing the Spanish Civil War.
