MISO Senses “The Magic of Synesthesia” at The Moore Building
Miami, FL – December 15, 2019 – The Miami Symphony Orchestra and its Music Director and Conductor Eduardo Marturet hosted a new edition of MISO Senses “The Magic of Synesthesia” at the Moore Building in the Miami Design District. Featuring works by Shostakovich, Piazzolla, Beethoven, Gounod, Rodrigo, Webern, Prokofiev, Williams, Stravinsky and Di Concilio, this multi-sensory experience was inspired by art and dedicated to the empowerment of women. Art advisor and MISO art curator Mali Parkerson was responsible for the synesthetic elements in the concert and a special exhibition space with seven very talented Miami-based female artists to showcase their inspiring work through an interactive art exhibition that wowed the audience. Amalia Caputo, Carola Bravo, Christina Pettersson, Marina Font, Nina Surel, Patricia Schnall-Gutierrez and Rhonda Mitrani gave life to the magical program designed by Maestro Marturet. Executive producer Fernando Duprat, accompanied by Grammy-nominated composer and MISO advisor for special events, Alberto Slezynger, lead the extraordinary production of the evening extravaganza. MISO SENSES “The Magic of Synesthesia” was without a doubt an unforgettable concert event and one of the most iconic of the year.
