Miam, FL – November 22, 2019 – The Miami Design District’s Fall 2019 Performance Series hosted a tribute to merengue and salsa with a special performance by the legendary Johnny Ventura at Palm Court. Dominican singer, Johnny Ventura is known as the “Elvis of Merengue,” and modernized the genre’s rhythm by introducing saxophones, trumpets, pianos, drums, electronic effects, timbales and incorporating elements of other beats without losing the essence of merengue.
