Voices For Children’s 25th Anniversary Be A Voice Luncheon Celebration at Jungle Island

Miami, FL – October 25, 2019 – Voices For Children Foundation celebrated its 25th Anniversary of the Be A Voice Luncheon at Jungle Island. Along with Presenting Sponsor, Stearns Weaver Miller, the organization served as host to over 350 guests to raise funds to support Guardians ad Litem, who serve as court advocates for children in Miami-Dade’s foster care system. The organization gave a special honor to Rita Widom Swichkow, who has been a Guardian ad Litem for 38 years.  Former foster youth and aspiring medical student Kamila Regalado received the Pathfinder Award.  Former Local 10 News Anchor Laurie Jennings served as the event’s emcee.
