Miami City Ballet Opens 34th Season (2019/2020)
Miami, FL – October 19, 2019 – Miami City Ballet kicked off its 2019/20 Season at the Adrienne Arsht Center with a sassy and spirited performance of Slaughter on Tenth Avenue, a celebration of body in motion in Mercuric Tidings, and an expressive Stravinksy Violin Concerto. Over 150 guests, including MCB Board Members, philanthropists, supporters and MCB dancers attended the post-performance members-only Artist’s Circle Reception at BRAVA by Brad Kilgore and sipped on wine sponsored by VINAMERICAS, Inc. MCB Executive Director Tania Castroverde Moskalenko and Board Chair Kristi Jernigan addressed the attendees, thanking donors for their support of Miami City Ballet, and introduced Donald Kipnis from DSS Consultants, the evening’s reception sponsor.
