Fort Lauderdale, FL – October 11, 2019 – Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale hosted the Ferrari Esperienza, as guests enjoyed the two-day, exclusive VIP event. Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale unveiled the new Ferrari F8 Tributo, a tribute to the legacy of Ferrari’s mid-engine V8 sports cars. On Friday, guests were invited to a private estate in Harbor Beach to experience a day of luxury enjoying Portofino Ride and Drives, tastings by Remy Martin Louis XIII, live art activation by Skye Ferrante Studio creating custom Ferrari pieces handmade with wire, Riva Yacht boat display, and live music.

The stunning Ferrari F8 Tributo features design elements the recall classic models such as the louvered rear window of the Ferrari F40, and quad round tail lights of the Ferrari 308 GTB. The Ferrari F8 Tributo goes 0-62 MPH in 2.9 seconds and 0-124 MPH in 7.8 seconds. The vehicle features the same engine of the track-focused 488 Pista, and the F8 Tributo is the most powerful regular production V8 car that Ferrari has ever produced. The interior has been completely redesigned while retaining its classic driver-focused layout. Traditional switchgear meets cutting-edge digital displays and premium materials in the cabin, while the exterior has been aerodynamically enhanced for greater performance. The styling is a futuristic take Ferrari styling themes and will turn heads for years to come. Read more below as we took a seat and unveiled the newest features of the all new Ferrari.

The Design

The design of the Ferrari F8 Tributo, is unlike any other Ferrari yet. To achieve their goal of making the car’s impressive performance easy to access and use, Ferrari’s engineers worked on integrating engine and aerodynamics performance with the latest iteration of the vehicle dynamics control systems. The Side Slip Control system, which improves drivers’ control on the limit for even more engaging involvement, has been further evolved. The transition from version 6.0 to 6.1 reflects the fact that the Ferrari Dynamic Enhancer system now also activates in the manettino RACE (FDE+) position.

The front of the car is characterized by the S-Duct around which the entire front end has been redesigned to highlight the extensive aerodynamic modifications made to this area of the car. The clearest example is the new, more compact, horizontal LED headlights.

The Interior

The cockpit retains the classic, driver-oriented look typical of Ferrari’s mid-rear-engined berlinettas. Every element of the dash, door panels and tunnel has been completely redesigned specifically for the car. The F8 Tributo also boasts a new generation steering wheel and steering wheel-mounted controls as well as new styling on the standard seats.

The Engine

The engine is the best engine in the last 20 years. The V8 Turbo engine, a massive 720 cv and a record specific power output of 185 cv/l, it is the most powerful V8 ever to be mounted in a non-special series Ferrari, achieving new heights not just for turbos, but for engines across the board. With a massive 720 cv and a record specific power output of 185 cv/l, it is the most powerful V8 ever to be mounted in a non-special series Ferrari, achieving new heights not just for turbos, but for engines across the board.

Forged Rims

The car is also offered with new (optional) forged starburst wheel rims, and thus asymmetrical on the two sides, lending an air of dynamism and sportiness.

The Rear

The rear of the car has also been strongly influenced by the car’s new styling. Aside from the rear screen, the spoiler has been entirely redesigned. It is now larger and wraps around the tail lights, visually lowering the car’s centre of gravity and allowing a return to the classic twin light cluster and body-coloured tail, another signature of the early 8-cylinder berlinettas like the very first in the legendary series, the 308 GTB.
