Miami, FL – October 18, 2019 – Five-time Grammy Award winning trumpeter Terence Blanchard brought together his band the E-Collective, choreographer Rennie Harris, and artist Andrew Scott to create Caravan: A Revolution on the Road – a multidisciplinary performance which explores racial and political relations with a fresh artistic perspective which was presented at the Adrienne Arsht Center. Caravan: A Revolution on the Road was co-commissioned by the Adrienne Arsht Center and the Dallas Symphony’s Nancy A. Nasher and David J. Haemisegger Family SOLUNA International Music & Arts Festival. Immediately after the performance, the artists joined members of the Funding Arts Network and Center supporters in the Cejas Patrons Club for a special reception.
