Miami Beach, FL – October 10, 2019 – The Betsy Hotel was proud to present an event in partnership with The Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce with award-winning writer, Dave Barry. Dave is a much loved writer who lives locally, but has a global reputation for humorous takes on all facets of life. The Betsy Hotel focused on Dave’s new book, “Lessons From Lucy”, that looks at the meaning of life through the viewpoint of his dog, Lucy. More than 80 people attended the event and many brought their dogs since, The Betsy is a dog friendly hotel.
