Miami, FL – October 27, 2019 – The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science hosted its 3rd Annual Spooky Science Monster Mash. The event was a unique science spin on Halloween with bone-chilling science experiments and creepy, cool encounters throughout the day. Special programming included a new live show, Into the Cauldron, where chemistry helped create bubbling concoctions, live owl encounters, underwater pumpkin carving in the Aquarium and interactive activities that explored the mysteries of marvelous metals with the American Chemical Society.

The event was supported by UHealth Jackson Children’s Care and Alpha Kids Salon & Spa. Partners for the day included Kiddos Magazine, KIND Snacks, Barry University, Florida International University, St. Thomas University, University of Miami and the Younger Chemists Committee, South Florida Section of the American Chemical Society.
