3rd Annual Miami Bridge Luncheon at The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove
Miami, FL – October 4, 2019 – With close to 250 philanthropists in attendance, the 3rd Annual Miami Bridge Luncheon celebrated the organization’s more than 34 years of providing emergency shelter services and community outreach programs for South Florida’s at-risk youth and families. Sponsors like AT&T, The Circle’s Foundation, Stabilify, TD Bank, and Coastal Construction were among the many that helped make this luncheon possible thanks to their generous contributions. The annual event took place at The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove and featured a pre-luncheon VIP reception.
Attendees mingled with Miami’s top philanthropists; local dignitaries such as Commissioner Daniella Levine Cava; as well as local celebrities Malik Williams, VH1 TV personality, and singer and songwriter, Brent Love. The reception honored local philanthropists who make a difference at Miami Bridge and in the community, this year’s Judy Reinach Award recipient and community advocate, Paul Thomas, and the Miami Bridge Social Impact Award recipient, Motorola Solutions Foundation. A special recognition went to Miami Bridge shelter service coordinator, Antoinette Graham. The luncheon also showcased a variety of youth and staff performances, a moving testimonial by a former Miami Bridge alumnus, and a fashion show featuring the organization’s kids and teen styled in looks kindly donated by local fashion boutique, Blessing Released. Kids and teens walked the runway as Brent Love performed his most recent singles, “Eternity” and “Shine Bright.”
