Tom Healy, Edwidge Danticat, & Frances Negron-Muntaner

Miami Beach, FL – September 15, 2019 – Acclaimed novelist Edwidge Danticat, groundbreaking artist and scholar Frances Negrón-Muntaner, and host Tom Healy held a discussion at The Bass on the connections between art-making and activism, between the lives we live and the worlds we imagine. Signed copies of Danticat’s highly anticipated newly-released book, Everything Inside, alongside other books by the three speakers were available for purchase through a Books & Books pop-up.

Moderated by writer and activist Tom Healy, the curated conversations bring together unexpected pairings of individuals who influence the way we look at and experience the world. The series discussions are around a universal question – what is really worth our time to look at, listen to, touch, taste or talk about? Curator Culture is presented thanks to a grant from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, as part of its Knight Arts Challenge.
