WRE: When did you discover your love for Pilates? What made you change your previous career path to open your first studio?
AR: Physical fitness was always a big part of my life, especially through academics. I fell in love with Pilates about 7 years ago because of its intensity and fusion of cardio, strength training, balance, flexibility and focus on all elements deriving from the core. I love Pilates because of the constant challenge to elevate and do better. I went to law school and always wanted keep fitness integrated into my lifestyle. Upon opening a business, I realized how much work it was going to take, and I needed to be all in. My legal background helps me in many areas of business, and I am grateful for that.
WRE: Not only do you co-own 8 studios, but you also created an adaptive fitness program at the University of Miami Hospital for people living with paralysis, sit on the Board of Trustees for the Sabrina Cohen Foundation. How do you balance it all?
AR: It’s all about time management, proper prioritization, and staying organized. Being on Sabrina’s board is both an honor and a duty to me. Physical fitness should be accessible to everyone, and working with our City to make sure the beaches and adaptive facilities are available to people living with disabilities is something I’m wiling to stand behind and fight for. I always try to keep my purpose in mind, set an intention each day, and shut off before bed. This helps me stay focused and make the right decisions.

WRE: How was your experience driving the Maserati Levante?
AR: It’s a luxurious car that makes you feel like you’re driving first class. As soon as you step into the car, it’s an experience on its own from the beautiful interior to the sound system to the spacious seats. It makes you want to stay in your car!
WRE: What was your favorite feature of the Maserati Levante? If you can drive anywhere in the world with the Maserati Levante where would it be and why?
AR: There were so many great features of this car that it’s hard to pick just one. Nothing beats the sounds of the engine on this car or the pick up but even the little things like the smart valet feature that locks your compartments and shuts down your navigation and stored destinations for privacy reasons was neat. If I could take this car anywhere in the world, I would say it would be a great car to drive down the Italian countryside. The Maserati Levante is great both on and off the road, and it’s so comfortable that anyone could enjoy a long car ride vacation in it!

WRE: If you can describe JETSET in one word what would it be and why?
AR: Limitless. This is not just about a physical fitness journey but it taps into what your mind and body are capable of doing. This is a space where cannot turns into can and maybe turns into definitely. It takes time, hard work, and changing our mindsets. I love watching people transform.
WRE: You call JETSET “The Modern Pilates”. How does JETSET differentiate itself from traditional Pilates and other workouts in general?
AR: I like to say we’re Pilates inspired. While traditional Pilates is amazing, we take it up a level in terms of intensity, cardio, and add elements of strength training in calculated patterns with minimal and seamless transitions in our 50-minute workout. JETSET is well-known for its core workout but it’s full-body, and we try and make sure you get something new each time. The work ethic of our clients is really our unique differentiator. Our clients come in ready and up for the challenge. You can feel it in every class.
WRE: From start to finish give us the basic rundown of a class.
AR: JETSET is a full-body workout, 50-minute workout, fusing principles of strength training, cardio and Pilates all in one. The tempo of the class changes depending on the timing and routine – but you can expect to sweat from the start and you always leave feeling great.
WRE: Tell us a bit more about the reformer.
AR: Our reformers have lots of bells and whistles – a moving carriage, platforms, straps for arms and feet, a bungee chord to target the lower half of the body, and springs that allow you add tension and resistance for each and every move. You can do over 800 exercises on our reformers, which makes things fun and effective.
WRE: Whats the best piece of advise to someone who is new to JETSET?
AR: I would say to be open to learning and be patient with yourself. It’s unlike most programs you’ve seen before, so come in with an open mind. Each time you hit the workout it won’t get easier but you will get stronger!
WRE: Have any big name celebrities or athletes taken classes at JETSET?
AR: Yes, JETSET has been fortunate to host a wide range of athletes and celebrities from the NBA, NFL, MLB, MLS to Olympians, Victoria’s Secret and Sports Illustrated models. Alex Rodriguez, Olivia Culpo, Devon Windsor, Alonzo Mourning, Jamal Mashburn, Vita Sidorkina – to name a few. We try to treat everyone that walks in the same way, and make sure all our clients feel comfortable both in a private or group setting.
WRE: Whats next for JETSET?
AR: We would spread the love nationwide!
JETSET is not just about a physical fitness journey but it taps into what your mind and body are capable of doing; it’s a space where cannot turns into can and maybe turns into definitely.
